Sleep is crucial for our wellbeing. Not only does it replenish our energy, but it also helps our brain lock in memories, repair tissues, build muscle, and boost our immune system. Sleep reduces stress, lifts our mood, and for kids and teens it is vital for growth and development.
For language learners, sleep is a powerful ally. As well as helping our brains to retain new vocabulary, grammar concepts and pronunciation, it sharpens our focus and mental performance.
So make sure you’re getting plenty of good quality slumber to ensure you become the best learner you can possibly be!
