Word Formation (17)

A fast way to find gaps in your English vocabulary and to build your vocabulary skills is to do word formation exercises like the one below. This is especially useful when you are preparing to take official exams.

If you want to have a strong vocabulary read like mad! (= read a lot). It is that simple, I promise. I did this for my German and Spanish studies and my vocabulary skyrocketed! And make sure you read a variety of content both fiction and non-fiction. Even reading subtitles on your favourite shows or movies will improve your vocabulary! Reading voraciously is what will really help take you to an advanced level.
